Necessary storage (always on)
These are needed for the site to work and are not used for tracking:
- Sign-in session: when you sign in, your login session is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in.
- Theme choice (topicweaver-theme): remembers light or dark mode in local storage.
- Sidebar state (sidebar_state cookie): remembers whether the app sidebar is open, for signed-in users only.
- Analytics choice (topicweaver-analytics-consent): remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, in local storage, so we don't ask on every page.
Optional analytics cookies (off until you accept)
If you select "Accept analytics", we load Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google). It sets first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<ID> to distinguish visits and measure which pages are used. Google processes this data under its own terms. If you reject, or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded and no page views are sent.
How to change your choice
Use "Cookie preferences" in the site footer at any time. If you switch from accept to reject, we stop sending analytics and delete the Google Analytics cookies we can reach on this domain. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings.
What we don't use
We don't use advertising or cross-site marketing cookies.
